I called this out in my 2019 book, HealthConsuming: from health consumer to health citizen. Pew collaborated with Public Opinion Strategies and Hart Research to conduct a survey in June and July 2020 among 1,213 U.S. This study re-confirms the current state of the health consumer who has a “concerned embrace” of technology.
