A recent analysis of connected medical devices, patient systems, and operational technology (OT) in hospitals and other healthcare delivery organizations (HDOs) has revealed an alarming number of devices and systems have vulnerabilities that could be exploited by threat actors to gain access to healthcare networks and sensitive patient data.Russian cybercrime groups and other financially motivated threat actors are targeting healthcare organizations because they are viewed as easy targets.

In-person GP appointments linked to high patient satisfaction Practices that offer the most face-to-face GP appointments have the greatest patient satisfaction, according to researchers from the University of Manchester. They also found the total number of appointments offered by practices made a big difference to satisfaction levels. The study involved data from 5,500 practices and found that 69.5% of appointments were face to face.
